Interior Design (Level 3)

Have an artistic flair ready to be unleashed? Whether you want a change of career or an exciting new hobby, our Interior Design course provides you with all the essential tools to take your passion for interior design to the next level.

During the course you will embark on an exciting study of the history of interior design whilst also learning about the most important concepts and features involved in the practice. You’ll also be getting ‘hands on’ along the way in order to fully prepare you for the real world of interior design!

Outlined in the ‘Snapshot’ tab above, the Interior Design course consists of 5 core units, all of which have been constructed to give students the necessary understanding and skills to further their practice of Interior Design.

Each unit is unique and serves its own purpose in equipping students with an overall working knowledge of Interior Design. While the first unit takes into account the background of Interior Design, Units 2 and 3 research the fundamental concepts of Design Elements and Room Elements. From space and scale to furniture and fabrics, these units ensure students have an astute awareness of the various elements that influence interior design.

Alongside this theoretical approach, the course provides insight into the practicalities of Interior Design. By undertaking their own projects, students will gain an understanding into the step-by-step processes involved in Interior Design. They will also learn important specifics in relation to what they will need to make a living from interior design, giving them a realistic path to follow.

Applicants do not require any previous experience within the field of Interior Design and candidates from a variety of backgrounds are suitable. Whether you’ve just finished school or fancy a change of career, this excellent course is available to you.

All we ask is that students have a passion for the subject alongside a basic standard of education. We will provide all your course materials and they have been designed explicitly with the student in mind. We want your experience to be as enjoyable as possible and aim to provide support where we can. We provide a comprehensive Study Guide and a tutor will always be on standby to assist.
