ENDORSED QUALIFICATION AT LEVEL 3
Love working with children? Interesting in starting an incredibly rewarding career with impressive prospects? The Early Years Foundation Stage course may be perfect for you.
Tailored to equip students with the essential knowledge, grounding and insight required from early years practitioners, this exciting course can be completed around your commitments, on a part-time or full-time basis.
COURSE OVERVIEW
Spread across several rich and fascinating units (which you can explore in more detail by clicking the ‘Snapshot’ tab above), the Early Years Foundation Stage course covers the basic principles of early years practice. These principles include A Unique Child, Positive Relationships, Enabling Environments and Learning and Development.
These 4 themes underpin the principles of the course, and guide the work of all early years practitioners. You will explore each of them in detail during this enriching course. In addition, students are actively encouraged to reflect on their own practice, giving them plenty of opportunity to explore ways of enhancing the way they deliver this framework, as well as improving its effectiveness.
PLEASE NOTE
Students enrolled on the course for professional development will also need to complete an additional Childcare Workforce Development Council (CWDC) qualification; such as the Children and Young People’s Workforce (RQF) course. However, this course will give you the insight, knowledge and grounding required to progress onto such a programme with ease.
